It doesn’t discriminate on age, ethnicity or location, it can strike anytime, whatever your level of general heath and fitness. No matter your job, you have to deal with some level of stress and that stress can quickly manifest itself into one of the problems listed above.
Some people say they thrive on additional work load’s, extra pressure, not eating properly, or doing extra shifts, but even just the continued drama of dealing with family, finding somewhere to stay can take its toll. Add any of them together and you have a recipe for a ticking time bomb with the potential to take years off of your life or end it altogether.
Many people won’t admit to being stressed, but if we are honest with ourselves we notice the pressure building up to the extent that even the smallest thing becomes blown up out of all proportion. When that happens if you are lucky it will only be sleep, digestion or skin that suffers if you are unlucky a heart attack or stroke will change things forever.
The good news is we can take steps to break the circle of stress, learn to turn off the phone sometimes, close that laptop, allow yourself some time to just relax before it’s too late
